SPECIAL ASSEMBLY ON 'BAISAKHI' BY STUDENTS OF CLASS- III ROSE

Baisakhi marks the Sikh New Year, hence is a significant day in the Indian calendar.

It is also celebrated as a spring harvest festival. The spirit of Baisakhi was captured and shared with fellow students and teachers, by the students of Class- III ROSE as they conducted the Special Assembly on Thursday, 11th April, 2019.

It started with a 'Shabad' taking everyone into the world of devotion and spirituality. This was followed by speech an historical importance of this day. Then, by means of a skit, students demonstrated the importance and significance of Baisakhi.

To complement the colour and zest was an informational video to update students. The assembly concluded with a resplendent and energetic Bhangra that made for a truly spirited stage. Parent's also witnesses this assembly.

At last, Principal, Mr. Harjinder Singh Turna explained the importance of this day and appreciated efforts of all the students. The spirit of Baisakhi fills the lives of people with Joy, Wealth and Prosperity.
