We ensure that our Library is well-stocked with books ranging from all genre. Introducing children to the world of books from an early age is imperative. Children are curious to learn and their thirst for knowledge must be satiated. School Library creates an environment for developing research and information literacy skills.
Indoor games options like carom, table-tennis, jigsaw puzzles and board games are available to the students. These help in development of social skills encourage creativity, patience and perseverance. Most board games involve learning besides keeping the students happily engaged. Memory games and word puzzles are fun and a good way of strengthening ones mental aptitude.
There is a trained nurse present during the schools hours. The medical room is well-lit, all the basic medications are available. However, nothing is given to the child without first consulting with the parent to ascertain any allergies a child may have. All medication is handed in at the reception before registration. Students are not allowed to carry medication with them, with the exception of asthma inhalers and diabetic equipment.
Yoga is a way of living that aims towards a healthy mind in a healthy body. Meditation and yoga are interrelated. After the morning school assembly, students start off their morning with basic meditation and stretching exercises. There is a specialised yoga instructor present who teaches and assists. Meditation and yoga contribute directly to improve mental focus and concentration among students.
